Giants of Land & Sea

In 2018 the Academy built an exhibit all about the California coast. I helped out on several pieces. The most interesting work I did was early on in the process when they were still in the concepting phase and I was able to propose several ideas. I played a key role in the Blue Whale Interactive which included flying a drone through the museum near the huge skeleton of a blue whale that is suspended from the ceiling. I took that footage and superimposed a 3d model of a whale over top of it. I also helped to shape the look of some of the other interactive elements in the exhibit.
